I am a Tax Lawyer registered with the Bar Council of India, with over 14+ years of experience in the field.
My expertise lies in Corporate Law, Taxation Law, Labour Issues, Trademark Issues, Intellectual Property Rights, India Entry Strategies, and Investment Structuring, with a special emphasis on the areas of Foreign & Domestic Investments and Divestment, Collaborations, Regulatory Approvals and Compliance, Foreign Trade and Exchange Control Laws.
In my journey so far, I have helped approx. 3000+ Organisations/corporate clients on tax related issues, amalgamations, mergers, acquisitions etc. And helped a number of companies with matters related to incorporation, winding up, insolvency etc.
I started out as a litigation lawyer and have represented countless clients before various authorities. During my initial years of practice, I worked as a Senior Consultant/Senior Associate with various reputed Advisory & Consultancy Firms.
It was During this time that I found a major lacuna in our society, which was the 'understanding of Law'. I realized that most common people today do not understand fundamental legal concepts. They face challenges when it comes to basic compliances their business is to meet, and cannot comprehend tax-related matters.
So, this vast exposure I gained in my early years, helped me find my love for Corporate Legal Advisory Services. And I did my specialization to become a Business Taxation, Corporate Law & Tax Lawyer.
Armed with the knowledge and expertise, I made it my business to educate and advise people in Corporate, Commercial and Business Law matters. To facilitate this, I founded Legal-n-Tax Advisory LLP.
My aim is to help corporations and individual businesses resolve tax controversies by the procedure of law.
